Robert hearts Elizabeth
I can't even begin to say what a treat it was to be a part of Elizabeth & Robert's wedding. E's mama, Susan, is the owner and fabulous baker of Salty Paws Biscuits in the Outer Banks. We have been friends for quite sometime, her doggie, Hunter was a huge part of my book, Diving Doggies: A Celebration of Play Underwater and all of our dogs have enjoyed her dog pastries!Needless to say, I was thrilled to hear these two were getting married, well, not only these two but all of their families. Each family gained a son or daughter.
They had their ceremony in the Historic Randolph County Courthouse in Asheboro, NC and their reception at The Exchange which was right around the corner. They had a super fun carnival theme, complete with popcorn, cotton candy, pretzels, a balloon blowing artist, photobooth, pinwheels and movie tickets for raffle drawings.
This photo of Elizabeth is her favorite, her grandfather distributed coke products and collected everything coke. She said she had always imagined him and her dad walking her down the aisle, while he wasn't there in person, he was in spirit.
The wall is so fun, love how it's hard to discern if the bride is a painting or really on the steps....
Love these photos Candace took- the contrast of the sassy gal outside with the balloon blower and photobooth inside.
Wishing you a lifetime of love and snuggles!
