Cape Charles Wedding | King's Cross Inn

Cat and Jeff are married on the beautiful Eastern Shore of VA

Cape Charles Wedding.

Cat and Jeff had their beautiful Cape Charles Wedding at the serene King's Creek Inn this past weekend on the Eastern Shore of Virginia.  Everything was absolutely stunning!  River Designs decorated with a ton of vintage props for the ceremony, cocktail hour, cake display and a fun polaroid photo booth for guest to check-in.

This was Cat and Jeff's THIRD ceremony of the weekend!  Brooke photographed their traditional Vietnamese Tea Ceremony the day before in Virginia Beach, VA.

Cat's dress was just beautiful!  Her Man of Honor helped with the last details of getting ready in one of the Inn's suites.  Beauty and Baubles did a fantastic job on hair and make-up for the girls.

These little flower girls looked like little cupcakes! One of them napped inside, right up until time to walk down the aisle.

But she made quite an entrance!!! Having both her hands taken, she didn't have any way to slide up the flower crown! The boys (and guests) thought this was a riot! A family member stepped in to help out.

Even though they were technically married already, Cat and Jeff had sweet tears when it came time for the ceremony to start.

Deacon Don had a very emotional service for the couple. He splashed holy water on them that had been blessed in the Jordan River.

Cat had one special photo request. She wanted all guests to gather into the shape of a heart to capture everyone. I ran up quick to the balcony and directed everyone into a shape. Their pup Zoe even posed for it!

The Inn is gorgeous inside and out!  Here you can see the view in the back from one side to the other.  The ceremony chairs were lifted away to reception area, but the vintage doors remained as a nice walk way for guest to enjoy the beautiful dock on the river.  The bank is lined with oysters and wildlife.  There was even a few jumping fish during the ceremony!

Dee and Paige did an exquisite job on the flowers and table decorations!  Zoe's leash even had vines and flowers!

Blue Steel Lighting lit the reception and highlighted trees on the property.  We love the café lights on the dance floor.  When having an outside reception, especially one without a tent, it's very important to consider lighting.

Big Sam's catering were on site tossing fresh dough and firing gourmet pizzas right there for guests!  I had a slice of the olive oil, spinach, goat cheese and caramelized onion pizza- it was delicious!  Big Sam's also had a full buffet stocked for guests to serve themselves.

Cat and Jeff had a super cool donut making bar! Guest picked a donut from Paradise Donuts  pyramid of donuts or donut holes.  There was a choice of icings and toppings- including bacon!  Paradise also made the party favors for guests to take home.

Who's ready for the Zombie Apocalypse?  Cat and Jeff are!  This couple loves ZOMBIES! They had the neatest cake topper I've ever seen!  Cat and Jeff as zombie hunters!  It flowed gorgeously with cakes from Nash Cake Co., flowers and antiques!  I wasn't the only one in awe of this topper, I saw a bunch of guest with their cell phones snapping pics!

If the donut bar, three flavors of cake (lemon, chocolate and cookies and crème) weren't enough for your sweet tooth, the reception had a s'mores bar too! Guest gathered around a rustic log and toasted their marshmallows. Big hit with the kids!

Adam Hopkins and the Bachelor Boy Band (and lady) did a great job getting everyone out to the dance floor.  They played a wide variety of music from Pharrell to Bon Jovi and had everyone singing along.

Hannah Hildebrant Events did a phenomenal job of coordinating this event!  There was a lot going on and Hannah and her assistants we there covering all aspects to make sure everything ran smoothly.
