Outer Banks Wedding | Nags Head

Beach Ceremony and Reception at 108 Budleigh in Manteo

Outer Banks Wedding.

Jessica and Clint were married this Memorial Day weekend in Nags head.  They are from Chicago and has at least one hundred guest attending for their Outer Banks destination wedding.  Guests came from all over the United States and had the best OBX weather for the week.  Outer Banks Wedding.

Jess had her two sisters as bridesmaids, and they had a little celebratory drink before putting on her dress.  Hairoics did a great job on all the girls hair and make-up.  Everyone commented on how Jess's hair looked exactly like the picture she took in!

Sugar Snaps Events did all the flowers, I love the peonies!  Jessica's aunt was a huge help in getting ready.  She was also sort of their wedding planner, and had the whole day running smoothly- from ceremony to seating charts and reception timeline!

Jessica's grandma was at home in Iowa, but the minute the ceremony was over, dad put a call in on face time and she was right there with everyone. Technology is just amazing sometimes!

Even though it was Memorial Day weekend on the OBX, we managed to find some spots for the couple to have a few minutes of time together.  They were married right next to the life guard stand at Bonnett Street, so we used that in a few fun bridal party photos!

The reception was held at 108 Budleigh in Manteo, NC.  During dinner, I snuck the couple out for a frolic around downtown.  We visited Marsh's Light and the boardwalk before heading back.  Once returning all the guests had been wondering where we were and decided to wait for bride and groom before eating!  So sweet and thoughtful!

Clint light the sparkler on their gorgeous wedding cake made by Cakes by Robin.  We do not see too many sparklers on cakes, but I think it's a fantastic idea!  So festive!

I love Clint's OBX mug he sported during toasts.  This was the groom's first time to NC, ...EVER!  I've lived on the Outer Banks my entire life, so I'm a little partial, but it really is the most beautiful place!

Thank you for having us document your wedding day! Now you have a perfect place to celebrate anniversaries and get out of the Chicago cold!

Xxo!
