Manteo Wedding |  Roanoke Island Festival Park

Outer Banks Destination wedding of Emily and Luke

Manteo Wedding.

Emily and Luke were married on the Outer Banks of NC in Manteo at the gorgeous Roanoke Island Festival Park.   The ceremony was held inside the Maritime Museum and the reception was under a clear tent on the  lawn with a band and dancing on the stage!  Manteo wedding.

The couple had a sweet ceremony that included their families coming up and touching and blessing them.  Emily's mom also came up and gave a blessing in Hebrew.

Luke was a ball of emotion, which I loved!  Such a sweet couple!

The garden at the Festival Park are gorgeous. There's also a bunch of docks to stroll around on. We frolicked around before heading over to the cocktail hour.

Luke and Emily were introduced and went straight into first dance. The light was so pretty and golden coming through onto the stage!  The couple had some fancy first dance moves and finished with a nice dip!

Emily's three brothers were her 'bridemaids'! They were present for all tasks, including carrying bouquets and fluffing her train for her walk down aisle and pictures.

I was completely blown away by their speech! Not only was it heartfelt and touching, but the three of them arranged themselves into a pyramid, preformed a choreographed dance, and stacked their children into a totem pole!

This definitely takes 1st place in speeches I've witnessed!

Blue Steel lighting lit the tent, tables and surrounding trees.  It doesn't get much better than a clear tent and added lighting, but the reception also took place on the big festival park stage.

Bells and Whistles designed and decorated the wedding and reception.  Lots of drift wood, succulents, air plants and beautiful white fabric everywhere!

This was the most dancing I think I've ever seen at a reception!  The Emerald Empire Band had everyone shacking their fannies and even brought a few guests up to sing back-up!  At one point a few friends all brought out gold glitter jackets, helped Emily into one, and danced so hard I had goose bumps!  Emily didn't let that wedding dress of hers slow her down at all!

Thanks so much for having us there to document your day!
