We had such a lovely dinner at the Blue Point in Duck, NC.  Dave Melson (AKA Pops) is one of Currituck's finest chefs! He paired a 5 course meal with different wines and beverages. Sanctuary Vineyards 2014 Pearl (Albarino) was paired with a Bay Scallop Crudo with Blood Orange and Serrano Popper with Cucumber Foam. Heaven!

We've been able to make a few of these pop-up dinners and they are so much fun!  Seeing what the chef's make on their own- from the meal planning and work for months ahead of time, to the presentation of each dish and wine pairing/cocktailas it sits in front of us!  Delicious and always imaginative!
