Amber hearts James | Sanctuary Vineyards
I've gotten to know this fabulous couple a bit over the past year, so I was so happy to spend my last wedding of 2013 with Amber and James! I frolicked with them all over the farm and vineyards this summer for their engagement session, and Amber attended a Canvas and Cork painting class. They were married in the north vineyard at Sanctuary Vineyards in Jarvisburg, North Carolina. All of the fall colors worked so perfectly with Amber's details. Little birds, old books, antiques and dried flowers filled the winery where the reception was held.
Their rings held a Gaelic inscription, fitting for their honeymoon in Ireland!!!
Salon Vivace did an amazing job with all the bridal party's hair and make-up. All up-do's and airbrushed, they were still on time!
Gena and Danielle of Platinum Party Planning had a hand in making sure everything ran smoothly, boys stayed where they were supposed to, and that the entire day went off without a hitch, or at least appeared to for the bride and groom to be able to enjoy their day.
There is so many neat things hidden around the farm. I am always thankful when a bride lets me take her dress off for a bit.
The weather was perfect and the vineyard gorgeous as Dr. Dave Keller did a great job in uniting these two.
Amber and all her girls wore Converse sneakers and fun socks under their gowns. Not only is it cute, but it's really nice to have a wedding party be able to enjoy their day, instead of having their feet kill them!
Knowing the farm a bit from their earlier shoot, Amber and James wanted to go back to the creek and visit the bridge. The sun was perfect and romantic, with the hazy glow before sunset.
The working winery was all cleared out and decorated for a good time with great music, food from Currituck BBQ and delicious local wine.
We're so happy to have spent this day with you! Thanks so much!!
Have a fantastic time in Ireland sleeping in old castles and dining on potatoes and mutton!
