Gorgeous beach wedding in Duck, NC

Outer Banks Wedding.

Lisa and Lee were married yesterday on the beautiful Outer Banks.  The weather was cooler than we are used to on the OBX in June.  The water temps were actually the same as air, which was around 72 degrees.  The beach was clear of tourists, and stunning blue skies.

I met Lisa and Lee a few months ago for their engagement session at the Whalehead Club in Corolla, NC in March.  It was equally windy, but a bit warmer!  Since then the couple have found out they're expecting a little boy in October!

The mega-talented Renee Landry Style did all the floral decorations and reception detail in the pavilion.  I love the sign Lee made for the ceremony.  It shows where all the guests were traveling from, a lot from the bride's home town in Ireland, and a few from London!

Lisa has a sassy foot tatt!  "Be yourself, everyone else is already taken"

Kirra, Lisa's niece was the cutest, well-behaved, and most mannered flower girl at the age of three that I've ever seen!  There was a bit of a hold up as she was unclear of her exact responsibilities in flower distribution, but that's the point of including these tiny humans in your ceremony, right?

The couple read there own vows and Lisa's aunts from Ireland read traditional Irish wedding blessing in Gaelic.

The Sanderling gets the best sound side sunsets! We love a walk to the gazebo with the couple to show off those gorgeous colors, especially if the gazebo has been decked out in café lights!

Great cakes did a fantastic job on the couples two cakes.  One square tiered cake in the light green color of the reception with 'love birds' on top, and a Marine Corps. groom's cake since Lee is a Captain in the Corps.  The couple cut both with Lee's big sword!

The guests danced all night to Motown and Rock 'n' Roll by the band 10 spot.  They also played live for the couple fist dances. Outer Banks Wedding

Thanks Lee and Lisa for including us on your special day!

Congrats and we can't wait to hear about your little bean in October!  Xxo!
